Thanksgiving

Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Thanksgiving related post that does not refer to cooking or center pieces? It's nearly impossible! Not that it's a bad thing to talk about food, but how many other sites out there are doing Thanksgiving recipes this week? Uh, all of them!

I did find this site that gives cool facts on Thanksgiving including Canadian Thanksgiving. Click Here for more info.

I couldn't keep away from the crafty Thanksgiving things. This one is only for kids, those that have kids, and those that never grew up (which is not necessarily a good thing people). Try these crafty Thanksgiving items with a child you love or one that loves you. Try it here.

For those of you not planning on playing football and instead curling up with a great movie, I found this site that could help. It contains 20 movies that are streaming on Netflix for your family watching delight. Here's the link.

Thanks to StumbleUpon.com for all the groovy (oh yes, Groovy. I did go there), Thanksgiving sites. Until next time bloggers!

PS: Post your Thanksgiving pics here and I will load them up to next week's page.

Winter Stuffs

Hey all you lovelies in Blog Land. Has it snowed already where you are today? It has for me. I awoke to go to work today (I know, work on Saturday is BLECH), to find that Mother Nature had given me 2-5 inches of headache to deal with. Don't get me wrong, it looks really pretty, but honestly, I'd rather live without the snow. The trade off's not too grand though. I could choose from a hurricane season, earthquake season, volcano season, alligator and mosquitoes the size of a house season, or 109% humidity season. I might as well take the snow, right?

I just wanted to get one thing off my chest, (the entire reason for this blog entry actually). I HATE it when retailers start putting out Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving. And I absolutely LOATHE it when retailers have Christmas decorations intermingled with their Halloween decorations. RETAILERS, YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR THIS TIME. This is one of the reasons why Halloween is my favorite holiday. Take a look at the cool pic below that I found on the inter-webs, and enjoy!
