Politically Incorrect

Can I just say something real quick? This may not be the place to post this, but heck, it's my blog.

Went into Walmart to buy some Christmas wrapping paper the other day. I didn't want "Happy Holidays" or Santa. I wanted Christmas. The only object that had Merry Christmas on it was one box in a set of 10. I had to even search for a Nativity too! What the heck!?!

If a Jewish person walks up to me and tells me, Happy Chanukah, I'm in. I'll Happy Chanukah right back. If someone wishes me a happy Kwanzaa, I'll "Happy Made-Up Holiday" right back. When has going Politically Correct gone too far? Now. It's gone too far, right....now. Retailers, if you're not Christian, then we won't buy trees, or celebrate Christmas. I can deal with the Jewish wrapping paper if you can. It's just too, dang, far.

Cyber Monday

Happy Cyber Monday!! How many of you went online to buy something today? I would have if I hadn't have spent all my money on Black Friday deals. *insert sad face here*

In honor of Cyber Monday, I giveth unto you Cyper Monday Coupons!! I found a blog that lists some coupon sites including my favorite one, Retailmenot.com. If you ever buy anything off the internet and you don't check there first, you are wasting your money. I use this for everything from cosmetics to delivery pizza.

So, without further adieu, I give you THE BLOG LINK. Can you tell the caffeine has just kicked in?

For those information junkies out there, (like me), I have discovered a nifty chart that may make you cringe at your pocket book. Find it here.

For those of you that don't care about Black Friday, for those of you that were home sleeping all night Thursday and into Friday morning. For those of you that only woke up before noon on Friday for flights, kids, or work, I have the article for you. Apparently, there were several incidents of macing at Walmart, Macy's etc. All that over X Boxes and the latest POC toy? I don't think so. Read the article here.

I wish you all a Happy Cyber Monday, but wish upon you all to remember the true meaning of the Season. Atheist, Jewish, Christian, I do not care. If all you take away from this memorable time of year is that you got to spend time with family, then so be it. Either way, do not let the extreme commercialism get to you the way it has gotten to countless others.

Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Merry Kwanzaa, and a Joyous Festivas for the rest of us!

Winter Stuffs

Hey all you lovelies in Blog Land. Has it snowed already where you are today? It has for me. I awoke to go to work today (I know, work on Saturday is BLECH), to find that Mother Nature had given me 2-5 inches of headache to deal with. Don't get me wrong, it looks really pretty, but honestly, I'd rather live without the snow. The trade off's not too grand though. I could choose from a hurricane season, earthquake season, volcano season, alligator and mosquitoes the size of a house season, or 109% humidity season. I might as well take the snow, right?

I just wanted to get one thing off my chest, (the entire reason for this blog entry actually). I HATE it when retailers start putting out Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving. And I absolutely LOATHE it when retailers have Christmas decorations intermingled with their Halloween decorations. RETAILERS, YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR THIS TIME. This is one of the reasons why Halloween is my favorite holiday. Take a look at the cool pic below that I found on the inter-webs, and enjoy!
