Today in Geek History

Happy Monday people. How was your weekend? Mine snuck up on me and then would not go away. I don't know if I liked that.

Today is June 25th and today in Geek History...

1903 Eric Arthur Blair, or as normal people know him, George Orwell, is born today in British India.

1925 June Lockhart, the mom in Lassie and Lost in Space, is born today in New York, New York. What's that girl? Timmy's stuck in a well again? *sigh* Maybe we can leave him there this time? Hehe.

1928 Peyo, the Belgain man known as the creator of Smurfs is born in Brussels, Belgium. His birth name? Pierre Culliford. I would have stuck with Pierre.
