Happy Boxing Day! Apparently it has nothing to do with boxing. Who knew?
Today is December 26th and today in Geek History...

1791 Charles Babbage designer of the Difference Engine is born in London England.

1898 Marie and Pieree Curie announce the isolation of the element Radium. They will eventually die of radiation poisoning too. How sad.

1933 Edwin H Armstrong is awarded a patent for frequency-modulated or FM radio. And the airwaves have never been the same.
