Today in Geek History

Hey blog. I don't think today is going to be a good day. Just a feeling.

Today is January 11th, and today in Geek History...

1875 Milk is first delivered in bottles. I wonder how they had it before that? Wooden creates? Stone containers? That sounds rough.

1934 Tony Hoare pivoted into the world. 26 years later, his Quicksort algorithm divided & conquered.

1935 Amelia Earhart becomes the first person to fly solo from Hawaii to California. Later on, she would be abducted by aliens.

1996 STS-72 launches from Kennedy Space Center marking the 10th flight of Endeavor

JebsApps has been providing some of the wonderful Geek Histories for us. Give them a round of applause. No? Okay.
